Homologation Engineer
Carry vehicle approval files end to end, from category determination through to the issued approval, on passenger and commercial programmes.
What you will do
- Determine category, scope and variant structure for new programmes
- Run gap analyses against the applicable compulsory specifications
- Build and lodge technical files, then carry the correspondence
- Brief clients honestly on cost, sequence and risk
What we are looking for
- Mechanical, automotive or mechatronic engineering degree or diploma
- Three or more years in vehicle engineering, testing or quality
- The habit of reading the standard rather than the summary of it
- Clear written English; most of this job is documents
