From a single import to a full national launch range.

We work across every vehicle category that has to be approved before it can be registered, and with the component suppliers who feed them.

01

Passenger cars (M1)

Full model ranges, single imports and specialist conversions. The variant structure is usually where passenger-car programmes are won or lost, and it is the first thing we fix.

02

Light and heavy commercial (N)

Panel vans, pickups, rigids and truck tractors. Payload, axle configuration and braking evidence tend to drive the approval route more than the badge on the front does.

03

Buses and coaches (M2/M3)

Imported chassis with locally built bodies, midibus conversions and full commuter fleets. We align the chassis approval and the body build so the finished vehicle is one coherent submission.

04

Trailers and semi-trailers (O)

Workshop-built ranges, tankers, flat decks and car trailers. Most trailer builders are running more variants than they have approvals for, and the fix is structural rather than technical.

05

Motorcycles and three-wheelers (L)

Motorcycles, scooters, quads and light three-wheeled delivery vehicles, including the growing electric end of that market.

06

Electric and alternative fuel (EV)

Battery electric, hybrid, hydrogen and gas conversions. High-voltage safety, battery evidence and charging interfaces bring requirements that most first-time entrants underestimate.

07

Agricultural and off-road (T)

Tractors, harvesters, materials handling and mining equipment, including machines that only occasionally use a public road but still have to be legal when they do.

08

Components and aftermarket

Lighting, glazing, tyres, brake friction, seats, belts, mirrors, towing equipment and the rest of the safety-critical catalogue. Register hygiene is the whole game here.

The category decision sets everything that follows.

Whether a vehicle is an M2 or an M3, an N1 or an N2, an O2 or an O3, changes the requirements, the tests, the cost and the timeline. It is a decision made on mass, seating, axle configuration and intended use, and it is routinely made incorrectly by people working from the sales brochure.

We settle the category before anything is booked, because every rand spent on testing after a wrong call is a rand spent twice.
